1. Why did you want to become a professional wrestler?
I always loved wrestling, and knew from an early age I wanted to be a part of it, but I never thought I could actually be a wrestler until I saw Zach Gowen compete. At first, I wanted to be a wrestler to prove people wrong... anybody that had ever told me that I couldn't do it. As time when on, it was to share my story with others, to inspire people to overcome the obstacles in their everyday lives.
2. Favorite Wrestler? Favorite
Wrestlers [when I was] growing up varied... from Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage and Bret Hart.... to Shawn Michaels, Chris Jericho, Chris Benoit... to Kurt Angle and Zach Gowen. I have a ton!
3. Biggest thrill you have had in pro wrestling so far and why?
Just being able to entertain and inspire. Every event is a thrill and an honor. I am living my dream.
4. Coolest venue/location you have wrestled in and why?
I would have to say the PlainDealer/Nautica/Scene/Jacobs Pavilion in downtown Cleveland Ohio. It is an outdoor venue, that usually has around 1500 fans, I have had my best and worst moments there. My first time there, I was nearly killed with concussions from Ray Rowe and Michael Tarver. Second time I wrestled DGUSA Champ Johnny Gargano in a Last Man Standing match. Third time I was managed by Oscar of Men on a Mission, Fourth time I had a bloodbath tag match, where I was assisted by Zach Gowen to win the tag team gold, and last year I took a crazy suicide dive on to concrete. It's a cool atmosphere.
5. Biggest name you have wrestled?
I have wrestled quite a few; Matt Cross, Johnny Gargano, Shane Douglas, Tracy Smothers, Zema Ion, just to name a few.
6. Is there a story behind your name/gimmick?
Iron came from high school, where all the kids called me "Ironman," I guess as a ironic thing, as I was a kid who weighed about 110 pounds with cerebral palsy. The Handicapped Hero thing is basically because I am performing with a disability.
7. Biggest Rival and why?
Either Josh Prohibition or Johnny Gargano. Ironically, two guys that trained me. There was just chemistry both in and out of the ring that was unmatched with any other guys I have wrestled. There was a sense of realism that you don't find too often in wrestling anymore.
"On Our Own" by Bobby Brown.
9.What makes you a standout?
A mixture of charisma, in ring ability, and of course, my disability. I believe my character is something yet to be seen in wrestling, and that in itself makes me "One In A Million."
10. Proudest moment?
Berwyn Illinois, July 2011, when I was publicly endorsed by Colt Cabana and WWE Champ CM Punk. That moment forever changed my life.
